In order to match Russia's capabilities in the skies, Ukraine needs 128 Western F-16 fighter jets. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute in Washington, D.C., UNN reports.

"The problem with the A-16 is the number and the dates," Zelensky said.
According to him, "Russia is using 3 hundred aircraft against Ukraine every day.
"We decided on 10, 20. Even if there are 50, it's nothing. They have three hundred. We are defending ourselves, we need 128. This is the fleet," Zelensky emphasized.
He added that "our allies have these figures.
"Therefore, until we have 128 aircraft, we will not be able to match them in the sky," the President said.
