EU leaders will discuss supplying Ukraine with air defense systems at the summit in Brussels on April 17-18, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander de Kroo said, reports UNN.
"Of course, the supply of air defense systems to Ukraine by the EU countries will also be discussed here (at the summit - ed.). Deliveries are carried out mainly at the national level, but we are trying to coordinate this as much as possible," he said in Brussels, answering a question from a Ukrainian journalist.
Addendum
Earlier, EU diplomat Josep Borrell saidthat the EU should fulfill its commitments to Ukraine and provide air defense equipment. Western armies have about 100 Patriot batteries, while Ukraine is asking for only seven of them.
