The SBU has served a notice of suspicion to Sergey Bogatikov, CEO of the Russian design bureau Raduga. The plant produces cruise missiles for attacks on Ukraine. UNN reports this with reference to the SBU press service

Details

According to the SBU, the company specializes in the mass production of long-range missile weapons for Russian troops. First of all, we are talking about cruise missiles of the X-101 type, which are used by the Russians to strike at the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine.

The agency recalled that the occupiers hit an apartment building in Uman on April 28, 2023, with such a missile. The Russian air attack killed 23 local residents, including 6 children. The entrance of 27 apartments was completely destroyed.

For the uninterrupted supply of missile weapons to the occupiers, the company headed by Bohatikov received the Kremlin's "appreciation of the President of the Russian Federation" award.

Based on the evidence gathered, SBU investigators served Serhiy Bohatikov a notice of suspicion under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: Part 5 of Article 27, Part 2 of Article 28 and Part 2 of Article 437 (aiding and abetting in the conduct of aggressive warfare committed by prior conspiracy).

Comprehensive measures to bring the offender to justice for crimes against Ukraine are underway, the SBU emphasized.
