Cuban mercenaries fighting in the Pokrovsk sector as part of the 428th Motorized Rifle Regiment have killed their commander. The reason was constant humiliation, beatings, and withholding of wages from Latin American laborers. According to ATES, the direct perpetrators who killed the Russian commander have already been transferred to the Rostov region of Russia.
"The regiment's command asked the General Staff (of the Russian Federation) to replace foreign mercenaries with Russian soldiers. Our agent will monitor the situation and keep us informed. We can conclude that such situations sometimes occur, but where they become public," the statement said.
