The strategic task of desacralizing Crimea, including through the destruction of the Crimean bridge, which forced Russia to withdraw its ships away from the peninsula.
This was stated by the head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov in an interview with NV, UNN reports.
According to Budanov, the Crimean bridge is no longer of strategic importance to Russia, but continues to be a symbol of its imperial ambitions. He emphasized that the destruction of the bridge is much more important than the destruction of military cargo, such as a train with 60 cars of equipment.
He noted that unlike thousands of pieces of enemy equipment, the Crimean bridge is the only one, which explains its importance.
Everything we are doing, apart from the routine destruction of logistics and railways, is also the desacralization of Crimea. The bridge has to be destroyed, we have made sure that Russia withdraws its ships from Crimea as far as possible
The Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine noted that the issue of the destruction of the bridge should be addressed to the General Staff. He also said that the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine is implementing the planned actions on this issue.
