As noted by 112, the man moved to Russia several years ago, and before that, according to him, "since 2014, he had been cooperating with the Russian special services, passing them information about the progress of the ATO.
"Today his car exploded as soon as he turned the key in the ignition. According to the main version, an explosive device went off. The Moscow Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case," the statement said.
It is also known that Prozorov probably has a laceration of the leg. He was hospitalized.
Telegram channel 112 adds that about a year ago, an assassination attempt was allegedly planned against Vasyl Prozorov.
At the time, the former SBU officer lived in Berdiansk. According to 112, the killers were allegedly detained by Russian special services.
