Citizens, no matter where they were in the country or the world, have returned, and for many of them - more than 11,000 people who were internally displaced - Bucha has become a second home.

- Fedoruk noted.

The mayor also said that Bucha held a commemoration of the victims of the Russian occupation.

According to the mayor, Bucha is currently being actively restored, but there are places where the victims of the occupation are honored.

"509 victims of the Russian occupation," Fedoruk said, "With signs of torture, bullet hits to the head, to the back of the head - these are crimes. We demand a trial."

Fedoruk also explained that in the two years since the de-occupation, thanks to the Ukrainian armed forces, "everything that could be restored" and "that was subject to restoration" was restored.

Of course, there are houses, apartment buildings, and social facilities that are under construction because they had to be rebuilt from scratch.
