On the eve of the holidays, the brewing company AB InBev Efes Ukraine held an activation with “drunken” glasses at its partner filling stations. The aim of the initiative is to remind drivers about the inadmissibility of driving after drinking alcohol. AB InBev Efes Ukraine, in cooperation with its partners, has been implementing the social campaign “Drunk? Don't Drive!”, which aims to counteract alcohol abuse and improve driving culture, reports UNN.

Through the New Year's Eve activation, visitors to the filling station were able to put on “drunken” glasses and feel the effects of alcohol on reaction time, body coordination, reduced attention span, and impaired depth and distance perception in a safe environment.

During the activation, the promoters offered visitors to the filling stations to perform several simple exercises first without “drunk” glasses, and then the same exercises with glasses. For example, visitors had the opportunity to walk on a special exercise mat, draw shapes on paper, find a contact in the phone book, write a message on the phone, etc.

Thanks to this activity, AB InBev Efes Ukraine managed to attract more than 820 participants and draw attention to the problem of drunk driving, preventing dangerous situations on the roads.

As part of the social campaign “Drunk? Don't drive!” AB InBev Efes Ukraine  has developed a special training program on the dangers of combining alcohol and driving, which is used in driving schools to teach future drivers. The company also donated 520 sets of Drunk Busters goggles to driving schools and other partners to conduct interactive trainings across the country. More than 470 driving schools and technical institutions have joined the campaign initiated by the brewers, and at least 83,000 students have been trained using the course materials and the Drunk Busters.
