U.S. President Joe Biden says he will maintain a coalition of nations in support of Ukraine and to counter Russia. Speaking on Wednesday evening from the Oval Office of the White House, he delivered a televised address to his fellow citizens on the decision to withdraw from the US election race, UNN reports .

Biden said that the US will continue to “ensure the unity of a coalition of proud nations” to prevent Russia from winning the conflict.
“We will continue to strengthen NATO, I will make it more powerful and united than at any time in our history,” the president said.
“I will do the same for allies in the Pacific,” he added.
