In a telephone conversation, Biden reportedly confirmed his attendance at the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro in November and wished the Brazilian presidency success as head of the group.
Biden also noted that the economies of both countries are in good condition and that the partnership between Brazil and the United States should continue to develop.
At the end of the conversation, the Brazilian president congratulated Biden on his “generous” decision regarding the US election process and wished the country's democrats success in the November presidential election.
