It is noted that agents patrolling in a forest park in Linden, located in northwestern Washington, noticed two black backpacks. They were lying on the ground. A search of the bags revealed 30 brick-like packages of a white powdery substance.
After testing the substance, officials determined that it was cocaine and handed it over to the Drug Enforcement Administration. According to federal law, most seized drugs are destroyed, although some samples are kept as evidence for criminal prosecution.
According to CBS News, officials did not say whether any arrests had been made in connection with the discovery.
