The tragedy occurred in Asturias, a region in northern Spain. According to Spanish media, 5 people died and 4 people were injured. Another four people were trapped inside the mine at a depth of several meters.
Rescuers, firefighters and doctors are currently working at the scene of the tragedy. The injured are receiving the necessary assistance.
