An earthquake with magnitude 4.1-4.2 was recorded in the Sea of Marmara at a depth of 4-7 km. The epicenter was located near the island of Marmara, about 100 km from Istanbul. There were no reports of damage.

According to the agency, the quake with a magnitude of 4.1 occurred at about 22.26 local time, with the epicenter at a depth of about seven kilometers near the island of Marmara.

At the same time, seismologists at the Candilli Observatory reported that the epicenter was located at a depth of about four kilometers, estimating the magnitude at 4.2.

There are no reports of destruction so far.
