Ukrainian entrepreneurs have received UAH 3.5 billion in grant support since the start of the "Own Business" program, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Tetyana Berezhna said, as quoted by the ministry's press service, UNN reports.

As indicated, in 2024, 74 Ukrainians became winners of the fourth wave of the "Own Business" grant program, receiving UAH 113 million from the state to start or expand their businesses. In total, almost 15,000 entrepreneurs have received support from the state in the amount of UAH 3.5 billion since the program's launch.
Almost 15,000 Ukrainians have already become winners of the "Own Business" grant program and will receive microgrants to start or develop their businesses. The total amount of government investment in small businesses through grants under this program is UAH 3.5 billion. These are thousands of new companies and enterprises that have increased production volumes, expanded the range of products or services, mastered new areas of activity and will create more than 30,000 new jobs in all regions of the country. Grant recipients have already returned more than UAH 1 billion to the state in the form of taxes and fees paid to the budget
Among the recipients of the fourth wave of microgrants, almost half - 49% - are women, 40% - men, and 11% - legal entities. More than 70% of them have a university degree.
The largest number of grant recipients is in Lviv region (47), Rivne region (40), as well as in Kyiv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions (36 each), and the city of Kyiv (30). Most microgrant recipients plan to use the funds to purchase necessary equipment for their businesses.
The most popular areas in which the winners of the fourth wave will work are:
- wholesale and retail trade, vehicle repair - 160 people;
- processing industry - 72 people;
- temporary accommodation and catering - 67 people;

The Ukrainian government has allocated UAH 91.2 million to 378 winners of the "Own Business" program; microgrants are mostly up to UAH 250 thousand, and up to UAH 1 million for veterans.
