The Ukrainian Air Force confirmed the destruction of 10 out of 13 Shahed attack drones in Kharkiv, Sumy and Kyiv regions overnight, which were launched by Russian troops from the Kursk region of Russia. This was reported on Wednesday by the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, UNN reports.

"On the night of March 27, 2024, the enemy attacked with Shahed UAVs from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. A total of 13 enemy drones were used. 10 were shot down in Kharkiv, Sumy and Kyiv regions," Oleshchuk wrote on Telegram.
According to him, anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare equipment of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.
