A fire broke out at the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara region of Russia following a drone attack. This was reported by ASTRA, citing an OSINT analysis of eyewitness video, writes UNN.

According to analysts, the fire occurred on the territory of JSC "Syzran Oil Refinery", which is part of the structure of the Russian company "Rosneft". The enterprise is one of the largest oil refineries in the Samara region and processes between 7 and 8.5 million tons of oil annually.
The plant produces gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, and liquefied hydrocarbon gases.
The Syzran refinery has repeatedly been the target of drone attacks. In particular, strikes on the enterprise were recorded in April and May of this year. After the attack at the end of May, the Reuters agency, citing sources, reported that the plant had temporarily suspended operations.
