The Kremlin is trying to convince the West that Russian aggression will not spread beyond Ukraine. In this way, Russia is trying to dissuade international partners from supporting Kyiv. This was stated by Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Presidential Office, UNN reports.
Details
According to him, Russian propagandists have begun to spread a new idea in the West - that Russia poses no threat to Europe or NATO countries. Podolyak emphasized that pro-Russian parties in European countries have begun to pick up on such statements.
Let's just let Russia slaughter Ukraine, destroy Ukrainian statehood, and then there will be peace and quiet, and a lot of nice "gas benefits" and traditional corruption subsidies from Russia
The advisor to the head of the President's Office emphasized that this is perhaps the most disgusting attempt to disrupt solidarity support for Ukraine's democracies.
Addendum
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Kuleba emphasizes the need to increase arms production with allies in response to Russia's war. Ukraine and its allies, he said, should act together as a military coalition.
Recall
The US House of Representatives (the lower house of Congress) has approved the annual project of the US budget for national defense needs for the 2024 fiscal year, in which it is envisaged to provide assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 800 million dollars.
