In Zakarpattia, more than a hundred rescuers are working to eliminate a large-scale fire in a forestry enterprise on an area of almost 5 hectares. This was reported by UNN with reference to the State Emergency Service.
Details
It is noted that the fire occurred on the territory of the forestry near the village of Yasinya, Rakhiv district. Rescuers and forestry workers are working at the scene.
A total of 104 people and 17 pieces of equipment were engaged in extinguishing the fire.

The agency adds that with warming in Ukraine, there has been an increase in the number of fires in ecosystems and open areas.
Over the past day alone, 460 such fires were recorded on an area of about 390 hectares.
More than 2,000 rescuers and 480 pieces of equipment were involved in the firefighting.
