"According to preliminary information, four vehicles collided, including a bus and a truck. It is currently known that one person died in the accident and another was seriously injured," the Kyiv police said in a statement on social media.
The number of victims is being clarified.
Accident investigators, patrol police and medics continue to work at the scene.
