The attack, which took place overnight in Tel Aviv, was carried out by “a very large drone capable of traveling long distances”; the drone was detected by the Israeli army, but due to human error, “the interception and defense systems were not activated,” an Israeli military official confirmed during a press report on the situation Friday morning.
The explosion killed one person and injured two others.
