Russian troops attacked the border of Chernihiv region yesterday using FPV drones, mortars and cannon artillery, resulting in 59 explosions, the Northern Regional Office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on Thursday, UNN reports.
"During the day, Russian troops struck with FPV drones, mortars and cannon artillery on the border of Chernihiv region. 59 explosions were recorded," the SBGS reported on Facebook.
As indicated, hostile attacks were recorded in three communities:
- Novhorod-Siversk: 18 explosions (probably from cannon artillery, FPV drones and 120-mm mortars) in the direction of Mykhalchyna Sloboda and Vorobiivka.
As a result of hostile shelling, a power line was damaged in Vorobiivka and a forest area caught fire.
- Semenivka community: 20 explosions (probably from 120-mm mortars and cannon artillery) in the direction of Karpovychi, Prohres, Arkhipivka and Bleshnya.
- Snovska community: 21 explosions (probably from a 120-mm mortar) in the direction of Khrinivka.
"There is no information about dead or injured people among the local population as a result of shelling", the report says.
