Since the beginning of the day, 58 combat clashes have taken place at the front, with the enemy attacking the most in the Pokrovsk direction, where 14 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions have been recorded. On April 12, the communities of Prohody, Hrabovske, Velyka Pysarivka, Kucherivka, Bachivsk, Bila Berezha, Pokrovka, Malushyne, Zarutske, Shalyhyne, Luhivka of Sumy region were affected by enemy artillery and mortar fire. Also, the enemy's aviation launched strikes with guided aerial bombs on the areas of Velykyi Prykil, Petrushivka, Prohody, Myropilske, Krasnopillia, Novodmytrivka, Uhroidy of Sumy region.
In the Kupyansk direction, Russian occupants attacked the positions of the Defense Forces once in the area of Zahryzove.
In the Lyman direction, the invading army carried out nine attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Nadia, Tverdokhlibove, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, Nove and in the direction of Olhivka. Three combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight assault actions of Russian invaders. The enemy is trying to break through in the direction of Predtechyne and west of Andriivka.
In the Toretsk direction, our defenders repelled seven attacks by the occupiers near Dachne and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 14 attempts to dislodge our defenders from their positions in the areas of Kalynove, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Novosergiyivka, Troitske, Kotlyarivka, Preobrazhenka, Sribne and Andriivka. The Defense Forces are holding back the pressure and repelled 10 enemy attacks, four combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy tried three times to break through the defenses of our defenders in the area of Kostiantynopol and in the direction of Shevchenko.
In the Huliaipil direction, the settlement of Huliaipole was subjected to air strikes.
In the Pridniprovsky direction, the enemy attacked three times in the direction of our defenders' positions, without success.
In the Kharkiv, Siversk, Huliaipil and Orikhiv directions, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
In the Kursk direction, 13 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day, two of which are still ongoing. In addition, the enemy launched 27 air strikes, dropping 47 KABs, and carried out 306 artillery shellings, including nine from multiple launch rocket systems,
