217 combat engagements took place on the frontline yesterday, most of them in the Kurakhove sector, the enemy was also active in the Pokrovsk direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a summary as of 8 a.m. on November 25, UNN reports.
The situation at the front remains difficult. The enemy is using its superiority in manpower and equipment to attack our positions. Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught and inflicting maximum losses on the enemy. In total, 217 combat engagements were registered over the last day
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched one missile attack on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using four missiles, as well as 67 air strikes, including 85 drones. In addition, it carried out over 4,200 attacks, 121 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and engaged over 1,500 kamikaze drones.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces, as indicated, hit twelve areas of concentration of personnel.

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy stormed the positions of our troops six times near the towns of Kozacha Lopan, Tykhyi and Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk sector, 14 militants' attacks took place over the last day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Holubivka, Pishchane, Lozova, Kruhlyakivka, Novoosynove, Kolisnykivka and Vyshneve.
The enemy attacked on the Lyman direction 15 times. They tried to break into our defense near the settlements of Novomlynsk, Kolisnykivka, Kruhlyakivka, Senkove and Lozova.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked four times in the areas of Chasovyi Yar and Stupochky.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 55 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Myroliubivka, Krutyi Yar, Novotoretske, Lysivka, Krasnyi Yar, Mykolaivka, Sukhyi Yar and Mykhailivka. The main efforts of the enemy attacks were concentrated in the direction of the settlements of Selydove and Promin.
In the Toretsk sector, the aggressor made nine attempts to advance in the areas of Diliyivka, Toretsk and Shcherbynivka, and was rebuffed.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy attacked 46 times in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Hryhorivka, Dachanske, Pustynka and Chumatske since the beginning of the day.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Defense Forces repelled 67 attacks. The occupants were most actively trying to advance near Berestky, Sontsivka, Novodmytrivka, Zorya, Kurakhove, Dalmiy, Romanivka, Yelizavetivka and Hanivka.
On the Vremivsky direction, the enemy made 14 assaults on our positions in the areas of Trudove, Novosilka and Makarivka. He actively used bomber aircraft to carry out attacks in the area.
On the Prydniprovsky direction, four unsuccessful attempts to force the units of the Defense Forces out of their positions ended in nothing for the invaders.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is using artillery and aviation from the territory of the Russian Federation to target Ukrainian settlements.
"The operation in the Kursk region continues. Over the past 24 hours, Russian aircraft carried out 37 air strikes (49 missiles) on Russian territory, Ukrainian defenders repelled 25 attacks by the invaders," the report says.
According to the General Staff, our soldiers are inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and are actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
