191 combat engagements took place on the frontline yesterday, most of them in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove sectors, according to a report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on November 26, UNN reports.
The situation at the front remains difficult. The enemy, using its superiority in manpower and equipment, is continuously attacking our positions. Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught and inflicting maximum losses on the enemy. In total, 191 combat engagements were registered over the last day
Yesterday, the enemy launched five missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using seven missiles, as well as 65 air strikes, dropping 96 drones. In addition, it fired over 4,450 times at populated areas and positions of our troops, 112 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used about 1,500 kamikaze drones to attack.
"Over the past day, the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit the area of concentration of personnel, five command posts and another important enemy object," the report says.

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian terrorists unsuccessfully stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops in the areas of Vovchansk, Kudiyivka and Kozacha Lopan five times. They were actively using bombers and attack aircraft to carry out attacks in the area.
In the Kupyansk sector, 23 militants' attacks took place over the last day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Novomlynsk, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Synkivka, Lozova, Kruhlyakivka and Zelenyi Hai.
In the Lyman sector, the invaders attacked our defenders' positions eleven times. They tried to break into our defense near Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, Yampolivka and Torske.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked four times in the areas of Chasovyi Yar and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, occupants stormed Ukrainian positions six times in the areas of Toretsk, Dachne and Shcherbynivka over the last day. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 51 aggressor attacks in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Hryhorivka, Petrivka, Dachanske, Pushkine and Pustynka.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Defense Forces repelled 46 attacks. The occupants were most actively trying to advance near Sontsivka, Berestky, Zorya, Novodmytrivka, Dalne, Kurakhove, Uspenivka, Yelizavetivka and Hannivka.
In the Vremivsky sector, the enemy launched 13 attacks on our positions in the areas of Rivne, Novodarivka, Kostiantynopol and Sukhy Yaliv.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attacked our troops' positions twice near Novoandriyivka yesterday.
Three times, the invaders tried to force the units of the Defense Forces out of their positions in the Prydniprovsky sector without success.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya sectors.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is actively using artillery and aviation from the territory of the Russian Federation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
