President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed Serhiy Popko from the post of head of the Kyiv City Military Administration. Tymur Tkachenko has been appointed as the new head of the Kyiv MBA, UNN reports.
"In accordance with Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine 'On the Legal Regime of Martial Law', dismiss Colonel-General Popko Serhiy Mykolayovych from the post of Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration," reads the decree No. 897/2024.
At the same time, the President has already appointed a new head of the Kyiv MBA, Timur Tkachenko.
"...to appoint Tkachenko Timur Firuddinovich as the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration," reads Decree No. 898/2024.
