President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree establishing a professional Day of the State Bureau of Investigation, which will be celebrated annually on November 12. Zelensky said this in an evening address, UNN reports.
I signed several decrees today. (...) A decree on the establishment of a professional day of the State Bureau of Investigation. Today is the ninth anniversary of the adoption of the law on the State Bureau of Investigation, and I thank each and every person in the SBI who cares about the state's interests and ensures greater opportunities for justice in Ukraine through their work. I honored the SBI staff with awards. Unfortunately, two of them were awarded posthumously. The guys were performing tasks in the frontline area

We are talking about Decree No. 763/2024, according to which "taking into account the importance and role of the State Bureau of Investigation in the performance of tasks on prevention, detection, termination, disclosure and investigation of criminal offenses, it is decided to establish the Day of the State Bureau of Investigation in Ukraine, which shall be celebrated annually on November 12".
