In the village of Turbiv in Vinnytsia region, a 71-year-old woman fell into a well on the territory of her household and died, the regional State Emergency Service reported on Wednesday, UNN reports.

"On July 30, at about 22:00, rescuers were informed that a person had fallen into a well in the village of Turbiv, Vinnytsia district, on the territory of a household. Arriving at the scene, the rescuers used special equipment to lift the woman out, unfortunately, without signs of life," the State Emergency Service reported on social media.
The deceased was identified as the 71-year-old owner of the house.
The circumstances that led to the man's death are currently being established by law enforcement.
