Today, on April 29, unidentified persons blocked the entrance to the Mezhyhirya State Park and do not allow members of the interdepartmental commission, who were supposed to start the process of transferring the park's property to state ownership, to enter the territory. This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Environment, reports UNN.

On April 29, the process of transferring the assets seized in the criminal proceedings on the cases of former President Viktor Yanukovych after the Revolution of Dignity to the state began in the Mezhyhirya State Park-Monument.
An interdepartmental commission consisting of representatives of the special administration of the Mezhyhiria National Monument Park, together with the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), with the participation of representatives of the State Property Fund and the SAPO, arrived at the park. According to the Ministry of Ecology, they were to begin the process of transferring the seized property, which was transferred to the management of the ARMA by a court decision.
The agency noted that checking the availability and inspection of Mezhyhirya's property is the first stage of the process of transferring seized assets to the state.
At the same time, unidentified persons have blocked the entrance to the state park-monument and are not allowing members of the interagency commission to enter the territory, making it impossible for it to work

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the transfer of Mezhyhirya to the management of a state institution. The official opening of the Park-Monument of Landscape Art is scheduled for May 2024. The government promises that all funds from Mezhyhirya's operation will be directed to the state budget and the Armed Forces.
