The CEO of Ukrposhta suggested that the reason could be national colors, a legal ban, or delivery issues through Poland. He noted that Ukrposhta vehicles are being blocked by Polish customs.

CEO of Ukrposhta Ihor Smilianskyi voiced three versions of why President Volodymyr Zelenskyy sent back the Order of the White Eagle to Polish President Karol Nawrocki via "Nova Poshta" instead of using the services of the state postal operator. UNN reports.

Details

According to him, the national colors of Poland are white and red, like those of Nova Poshta, "so, perhaps, they decided that a state award should be returned in the appropriate colors."

Second. Perhaps the lawyers of the President's Office studied the issue and saw that sending state awards via Ukrposhta (specifically by mail, not by express operators) is strictly prohibited by law and regulations. Nova Poshta is not a postal service, but an express operator

- Smilianskyi explained.

In addition, he noted that Ukrposhta delivers within Poland via Poczta Polska, "and, perhaps, there were doubts that they would deliver."

"For the last two months, Ukrposhta's vehicles have been blocked by the Polish customs, and we are forced to bypass Poland through Hungary and Slovakia (they have no issues with us) and, in fact, have redirected all our transit flows around Poland. But our clients do not notice this because we have built alternative routes through other countries. NP's vehicles are let through by the Poles. Because, once again, they are express shipments, not state postal documents," argued the head of Ukrposhta.
