The situation with the power supply in Kharkiv, which suffered a massive enemy missile attack, may improve in about 8-9 days. The head of Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, said this during a telethon, UNN reports.
"I don't want to make any predictions, as the situation is really complicated, and I wouldn't want to make promises we can't fulfill. But I think that at the end of next week or in 8-9 days we will be able to significantly improve the situation with the city's energy supply," said Kudrytskyi.
He stated that the situation in Kharkiv is the most difficult, but the power companies are working and the inconveniences are temporary.
"Kharkiv has the most difficult situation. We have three options to ensure increased electricity supply to the city's consumers, and we are pursuing these three options in parallel," he said during the telethon.
According to him, the first units of equipment that power engineers will be able to power up under any scenario will ease the situation in the city.
According to Kudrytskyi, the situation in Kharkiv region is better, because the enemy tried to cut off power to the regional center.

On March 22, it was reported that Kharkiv power engineers had developed a plan to restore electricity supply, which consists of two consecutive stages. The first priority is to provide power to critical facilities. Then the standard power supply scheme will be restored.
As of March 24, according to information provided by Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov, almost all houses in Kharkiv have water supply, about 60% are connected to heating, and about 40% have electricity restored after the Russian attacks.
