Ukrainians abroad who are applying for a passport for the first time after reaching the age of 18 will be able to do so at the offices of the State Enterprise "Document". UNN reports this with reference to the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

"The government has improved the implementation of the pilot project on issuing internal and foreign passports to Ukrainians who are outside the country," the statement said.
It is reported that the amendments provide for the introduction of a procedure for accepting documents and application forms from persons who are applying for a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for the first time after reaching the age of 18 by the State Enterprise "Document" abroad.
"To this end, foreign branches of the State Enterprise "Document" will be given the opportunity to conduct the procedure of identification via video conferencing with the participation of the applicant and his family members, close relatives," the statement said.
