According to Oleksandr Porkhun, acting Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, participation is important not only as a sporting event, but also as a powerful veteran diplomacy and an indicator of our national resilience.
This is our way of telling the world that the Ukrainian people are strong in spirit, unbreakable and ready for new victories. We are proud of each of our veterans who continue to fight in the world's sports arenas. Sports rehabilitation is one of the priority areas that the Ministry of Veterans will continue to develop. We are grateful to our partners who support us in this important mission. Your support is irreplaceable, and together we are doing a great job, demonstrating the strength of spirit and unity in the fight for our future,
For the Ukrainian team, the competition days were very intense and filled with support from veterans from other countries, said Yuriy Gaponchuk, captain of the Ukrainian national team.
For me personally, the competition in Las Vegas is something incredible and unforgettable! Each of the participants gained a lot of experience and confidence. No one expected us to win so many medals. On behalf of all the members of the national team, I would like to thank the coaches who made us a team. Sport is an example for those who have been injured and do not understand what to do next. I also express my gratitude to the Ministry of Veterans and all the organizers who provided us with the opportunity to represent Ukraine in the international sports arena. For us, it was also a way to remind the world about Ukraine and bring our victory closer,
