On December 5, at the 19th session of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage, held in the capital of Paraguay, Asuncion, the nomination from Ukraine "program for the protection of the Kobzar-lirnitsa tradition" was included in the Register of good practices for the protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Taras Companichenko, a well-known Kobzar, serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and people's artist of Ukraine, represented the Ukrainian Kobzar — lirnitsky tradition at the UNESCO session.
