On December 5, at the 19th session of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage, held in the capital of Paraguay, Asuncion, the nomination from Ukraine "program for the protection of the Kobzar-lirnitsa tradition" was included in the Register of good practices for the protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage. This is reported by the Ministry of culture and strategic communications of Ukraine, writes UNN.

For you and me, this is a recognition of our values, culture, identity and identity. This achievement will be part of our great victory. The war unprovoked by Ukraine takes the lives of Ukrainian artists: 133 were killed, including six brothers of the Kobzar workshops, who came to the defense of Ukraine. Now Russia, like the once imperial and Stalinist regimes, destroys everything related to Ukrainian culture, in particular kobzarism and the bearers of living heritage. But despite all attempts to deprive Ukrainians of their roots, our culture shows invincibility,

- said the minister of culture and strategic communications of Ukraine Mykola Tochytsky.
