The Ukrainian women's national football team has won the first round of the 2025 European Football Championship, beating Kosovo 2-0.
Anna Petryk scored the first goal for the opponents, sending the ball into the net from the penalty spot in the 28th minute of the game. Soon after, Tamila Himic scored the second goal in the 33rd minute of the game.
The Ukrainian national team is currently playing in Division B as part of the Euro 2025 qualifiers. In order to qualify for the tournament, the girls need to take a place in the top 3 of their group and successfully complete two rounds of the playoffs.
