Ukraine received about $900 million from the IMF for priority budget expenditures after the second program review was approved

Ukraine has received about $900 million from the IMF after the second revision of the cooperation program, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Thursday, UNN reports.

Ukraine has received about $900 million from the IMF. These funds will be used to finance priority budget expenditures, Shmyhal wrote in X.

He thanked IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva and the Fund's team for "quick decisions in favor of and appreciation of Ukraine's efforts to implement reforms." [On December 11, the IMF Executive Board approved the second review of the EFF program for Ukraine, which paved the way for Ukraine to receive another tranche of almost $900 million
