Ukraine has attracted $3.35 billion under an agreement with the World Bank as part of the First Program for Development Policy on Jobs and Private Sector Growth. This was reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, according to UNN.
$3.35 billion has been received into the State Budget under the First Program for Development Policy on Jobs and Private Sector Growth, implemented jointly with the World Bank. This resulted from agreements signed by Ukraine and the World Bank on June 24 on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026)
According to her, the funds will be directed toward supporting macro-financial stability and financing priority state budget expenditures under martial law.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that this financing became possible thanks to a large-scale reform package. To meet the program's conditions, the government and the Verkhovna Rada adopted 13 laws and 7 subordinate regulatory acts.
The changes covered key areas: improving the public procurement system, developing factoring, integrating energy markets with the EU, transforming the agricultural sector, supporting veteran entrepreneurship, developing housing policy, modernizing preschool and vocational education, as well as restoring the environmental monitoring system for greenhouse gas emissions. The next stage of the program envisages attracting an additional $1 billion by the end of 2026 after meeting specified conditions
