The Government approved a resolution on the approval of the regulation on State Information System of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, UNN reports.

Stem cell transplantation may be required for three types of diseases:
- hematologic. For example, acute leukemia, multiple myeloma, plasma cell leukemia, Hodgkin's lymphoma, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma;
- non-hematologic. For example, L amyloidosis or POEMS syndrome;
- autoimmune.
It is noted that the most important thing in the search for a stem cell donor is the speed of of determining cellular relatedness. The functionality of the system will allow in the future, to search and form a donor-recipient pair more quickly, quickly exchange information and documents with other information systems.
Thus, after filling the system with information about "biological passports" (or the results of examinations) of potential hematopoietic stem cells, the number of people who will be provided with medical medical care with this method of treatment.
