SBGS spokesman Andriy Demchenko reported that there is no buildup of a strike group capable of invasion on the border with Belarus. However, according to intelligence data, Russia continues to pressure Belarus regarding more extensive participation in the war.

At the border with Belarus, there is currently no buildup of a group that could actually carry out an invasion of Ukraine, but according to intelligence, pressure from Russia on Belarus demanding that Belarus become more involved in the war against Ukraine persists. This was stated by the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, during a briefing, reports UNN.

Overall, the border with Belarus is significantly different from the border with Russia, as we do not record shelling along this section of the border. As, fortunately, there is no concentration of any strike group that would be ready to destabilize along our border, or to attempt an invasion. Although, according to intelligence units, pressure from Russia on Belarus demanding that Belarus become more involved in the war against our country persists

He noted that the task of the border guards is to have strong defensive positions and to build engineering fortifications along the border with Belarus.
