Components for the missiles and drones that Russia uses to attack Ukraine on a daily basis are manufactured in at least 19 countries. Among them, in particular, are the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. This information was voiced by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin during a meeting on preventing the illegal trafficking of sensitive technologies held in The Hague at Eurojust, UNN reports with reference to the Office of the Prosecutor General.
It is noted that the participants of the meeting were looking for a solution to deprive Russia of access to modern technologies that it uses to create unlivable conditions for Ukrainians.
"The missiles and drones used by Russia for daily attacks on peaceful cities and towns of Ukraine contain foreign components manufactured in at least 19 countries. These include China, South Korea, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United States and others," Kostin said.
According to Kostin, in order to prevent the ingress of components for production into Russia, it is necessary to criminalize the transportation, sale, purchase, delivery or other actions related to the supply of technological goods to legal entities and individuals under sanctions.

Oleksandr Ruvin, Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, previously reported that thanks to cooperation with foreign media, three people who had been supplying military goods to Russia in circumvention of sanctions were arrested in the Netherlands.
"We have a successful case of cooperation with Dutch journalists. Their investigation led to the arrest of three people as part of a multinational investigation into an international smuggling network that was working to circumvent European sanctions against Russia. Such small local steps help to increase the effectiveness of sanctions pressure on the aggressor country," Ruvin said.
