Warriors of the SBU's Special Operations Center "A" carried out a repeated strike on the "Vtorovo" oil pumping station in the Vladimir region of the Russian Federation. The facility is an important node for supplying diesel fuel to the Moscow region and for export.

Warriors of the Special Operations Center "A" of the Security Service of Ukraine for the second time this month struck the "Vtorovo" linear production and dispatch station in the Vladimir region of the Russian Federation, which ensures the transportation of petroleum products, in particular to the Moscow region, reports UNN.

Details

The operation was carried out as part of a 40-day influence operation against Russia in accordance with the tasks set by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The "Vtorovo" station is part of the structure of JSC "Transneft-Verkhnyaya Volga" and is one of the key logistics hubs for pumping light petroleum products. It is used to transport diesel fuel to the Moscow ring oil product pipeline, from where the fuel goes to large oil depots around Moscow. In addition, the facility ensures the supply of petroleum products to the export ports of the Baltic Sea.

According to preliminary information, drones hit the technical buildings of the station, after which a detonation occurred at the facility.

The SBU emphasizes that special operations to destroy strategic facilities that ensure the functioning of the Russian military economy will continue. Their goal is to reduce the resource base of the aggressor state, in particular by targeting the logistics infrastructure that supports military needs and Russia's export revenues.
