Russia has developed a new covert information warfare strategy aimed at distorting information in global search engines and AI programs. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

According to the CCD statement, Russian special services are massively filling the internet with millions of automated fake articles. As a result, computer algorithms and chatbots read this mass of lies, mistakenly consider it truthful, and present it to users as reliable answers.
At the same time, due to sanctions and lack of funds, the Kremlin has abandoned the development of its own artificial intelligence, focusing on "poisoning" the algorithms and language models of AI with Kremlin propaganda.
The Kremlin is trying to fully automate propaganda, forcing global technologies to work for itself. The main danger is that now the enemy's lies do not look like obvious advertising or an aggressive social media post - they are disguised as ordinary, neutral computer prompts, which significantly complicates their recognition
