The Parliament has adopted in the first reading the draft law “On registration of persons whose lives and health were harmed as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (No. 10256). This was reported by UNN with reference to MP Dmytro Frolov.

According to him, the accounting system will include data on the damage caused to the lives and health of Ukrainians, in particular through:
- death, disappearance;
- injury or damage to health;
- sexual violence;
- torture, captivity;
- loss of access to medical, social or educational services;
- internal and external movement, etc.
According to the MP, the purpose of the registration system is to introduce a unified database of victims to determine the amount of support they need, as well as to speed up the receipt of information about the damage from other state registers. It will be possible to submit an application to the registry through the Diia portal or a mobile application.
“The accounting system will be the first step towards creating an effective system of support for victims, which will allow us to record the damage and promptly provide assistance to citizens,” Frolov added.
