Death toll in Sumy from Russian airstrike rises to five

In Sumy, as a result of a strike by Russian guided aerial bombs, five people were killed, including a child. The number of injured has risen to 30, five of whom are in serious condition.

The number of dead as a result of the strike of Russian guided aerial bombs on Sumy has increased to five, reported on Saturday the head of the Sumy OVA Oleh Hryhorov and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, writes UNN.

"Unfortunately, a severely wounded man died in the hospital," Hryhorov clarified on social media.

According to the head of the OVA, the number of injured has increased to 30. Currently, five people are in serious condition. Doctors are providing all necessary assistance.

As indicated by the State Emergency Service, vehicles and the balcony of a nine-story building were burning due to the impact. Rescuers extinguished all fires.

Rescuers evacuated 140 people from the building, including 20 children. SES psychologists are working at the scene.
