Power engineers have completed scheduled repairs ahead of schedule at one of the nuclear power units, connecting it to the grid to strengthen the stability of Ukraine's energy system in a difficult period when nuclear power covers more than half of the country's energy consumption, the Energy Ministry said on Wednesday, UNN reports.

The Ministry of Energy noted that before the full-scale invasion, there were 15 nuclear power units in Ukraine, of which 9 are currently operating on the territory controlled by Ukraine (6 are located on the Russian-occupied ZNPP).
