The NATO-Ukraine Council met today for the first meeting at the level of foreign ministers. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in his opening remarks expressed confidence that Ukraine will one day become a full-fledged member of the Alliance, UNN reports .

According to Stoltenberg, Russia's aggression continues to threaten the security of the whole of Europe, and Allies are providing Ukraine with unprecedented military, financial and humanitarian assistance. They also fully support Ukraine in its reforms on the path to NATO membership.
He also pointed out that Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will join the Allies at the NATO-Ukraine Council meeting to "inform about the current situation on the ground and the specific needs of Ukraine".
"Allies continue to stand with Ukraine for your security and ours," the NATO Secretary General emphasized.
