The Ministry of Energy told when Ukraine can return to blackout schedules

The deputy energy minister said it was too early to predict a return to the blackout schedules due to uncertainty over the duration of the heat wave. Ukrainians are urged to conserve electricity, especially during peak hours.

Deputy Energy Minister Mykola Kolisnyk said that it is currently incorrect to make predictions about the return to the power outage schedules, as it is not known how long the heat wave expected after August 12 will last, whether it will cover the whole of Ukraine or territorially. Ukrainians are urged to consume electricity sparingly. Kolisnyk said this on the air of the telethon, UNN reports.

Details

It is incorrect to make such predictions (about returning to the schedules - ed.) today because we do not understand how long this heat will last, whether it will cover the whole of Ukraine or territorially, taking into account whether it is the temperature at lunchtime or separately. Therefore, if we are energy companies, the impact on consumption is important. This is why one of the factors we systematically call for is to consume responsibly, particularly during peak hours. These are from 7 to 11 am and from 17:00 to 22:00. This makes it possible to balance the power system

- Kolisnyk said.

Recall

Ukrenergo reported that there are no plans to cut off electricity in Ukraine on August 4. The company urges to use powerful electrical appliances from 11:00 to 15:00.

Weather forecaster Natalia Didenko reported that Ukraine is currently experiencing a drop in air temperature, but according to an indicative forecast, starting August 12, the temperature will rise again , and the thermometer will rise again. The air temperature may reach 36 degrees.
