The Ministry of Defense continues to test two samples of floating modules: Ukrainian and foreign. They are being developed specifically for the Navy, pontoon boats, special operations forces, and some special units of the airborne assault troops, UNN reports, citing the Defense Ministry.

The floating module is attached to the body armor and can withstand the weight of not only the military but also additional equipment of 27 kilograms.
"If such a vest falls into the water, the air cushion automatically inflates and lifts the soldier to the surface," said Oleksandr Sharko, chief specialist of the Central Department for Development of Logistics Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Currently, the Central Directorate is conducting a survey of the soldiers who tested the floating body armor.
"The feedback from the soldiers is very important to us. After such tests, we receive important information from the testing teams. This allows us to improve the products so that the Ukrainian army receives ammunition that creates an advantage over the enemy army," Charcot added.
