According to sources in the lower house of the Russian parliament, the presidential administration is developing a scenario in which several deputies of the new convocation will speak from the rostrum of the State Duma with an appeal to Putin to conduct a new mobilization.

Earlier, a post about a supposedly planned "large-scale mobilization" for the fall of 2026 appeared in the Telegram channel of State Duma deputy Andrei Gurulyov.
Later, the deputy stated that his channel had been hacked, but the publication remained accessible.
Against the backdrop of these reports, Russian officials began to publicly deny preparations for a new mobilization.
Corresponding statements were made by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov, and State Duma deputy Viktor Sobolev.
There is currently no official confirmation of the information about a possible new mobilization.
