So far, there is no talk of introducing blackout schedules for the whole of Ukraine. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Hrynchuk during a telethon, UNN reports.
When asked whether the introduction of schedules for the whole country is now being considered, Hrynchuk replied: "No, we are not talking about introducing schedules for the whole country yet. But we have to understand that we do not know the enemy's plans, what their next attacks will be.
She noted that power engineers are working almost around the clock to resolve problematic issues, primarily with the transmission system.
"Basically, transmission systems are now in the crosshairs," Grinchuk said.
