The situation in Brovary is under control, and utility companies are working to clean up roads, sidewalks and adjacent areas. Brovary Mayor Ihor Sapozhko told UNN in an exclusive commentary .
Due to the deteriorating weather conditions, including snowfall, all Brovary utilities are working in an emergency mode. In the morning, snowplows were deployed to the streets to clear roads, sidewalks and adjacent areas. The work is ongoing to ensure traffic safety for both pedestrians and vehicles
According to him, special attention is paid to the entrances to educational institutions, hospitals and other socially important facilities. Roads are also treated with de-icing agents to prevent accidents.
In total, according to the mayor, more than 40 pieces of equipment have been prepared for snow and ice this year. These include 14 combined road machines for snow removal and 11 tractor units for loading sand and salt mixture. Also, 3,000 tons of sand and salt mixture have been prepared and 400 tons of salt have been purchased for the treatment of roads and sidewalks.
The situation in the city is under full control, and I assure you that we will do everything possible to ensure comfort and safety for every resident of Brovary. I would like to thank the utility companies for their efficiency, well-coordinated work and willingness to work in difficult weather conditions. I also urge residents to be careful on the roads, drive carefully, and avoid traveling by private vehicles during heavy snowfall if possible
